Have you taken the survey yet? We want your feedback!

We need approximately 28 more parents to fill out this survey. Get a cup of coffee, sit down, put your feet up and give us some feedback! THANKS!!!!!

The Parent Survey is currently open. Take the survey by visiting and select the appropriate survey. Make sure you enter Kane County in the box for county even if your home or your child’s school is in DuPage County. This will allow you to correctly select your child’s school.

We need at least 20% of families to complete this survey. We use the results of the survey to help us with future planning. So far our current response rate is 13%. We would really appreciate families taking the survey. This Parent Survey is currently open and will remain so through April 2, 2021.

Please click here for the parent information letter and here for login screenshots.

We really appreciate your assistance!

The Anderson Bird Feeder Diner is now serving! Just outside the LRC windows, we have installed a variety of bird feeders to attract wildlife. Students will be able to observe birds and try to identify them using our Bird Quest sighting wall. They can identify the type of bird, learn an interesting fact, hear the bird song, and log their sighting into our school record. So far Black-Capped Chickadees have gathered to enjoy some tasty sunflower seeds, but as spring approaches we expect to see a range of birds from Downy Woodpeckers to Goldfinches. Hopefully, the birds will tell their friends to swing by!

All Kindergarten, 2nd grade and New to Illinois Students need to have a current dental examination form on file. Any exam dated 2/15/20 or later can be used.

All 3rd graders need to have an updated Health Survey on file.

Completed forms can be faxed to 331-228-3301 OR can be scanned and emailed to either of the Anderson nurses at or

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the nurse's office at 331-228-3304.

Pinot's Palette Virtual Paint Party

Calling all our creative foxes! This is the event for you! Join us Thursday, March 25th at 6:00pm for a virtual painting party hosted by Pinot's Palette in St. Charles. The cost is $30 per paint kit. All materials you will need to paint your masterpiece will be provided. An instructor will walk you through step by step instructions over zoom to create the adorable spring fox painting you see to the right. Our finished piece will have optional royal blue flowers to show our Anderson Fox pride. Materials will be delivered to school and you can either choose to pick them up at school or we can make arrangements to deliver them to your home. All are welcome to participate (moms, dads, grandparents, cousins...). There will a limit to 100 families due to the companies zoom licensing limitations. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, March 18th. We CANNOT accept late sign ups, as the company needs time to put the paint kits together. Questions? Contact Lisa at:

As you may know, each week a small group of 5th Grade students work with Mrs. Gustafson to write, record, and produce a weekly Newscast that we share with the whole school each Monday. We always post these on our Anderson Facebook Page, but in case you haven't seen it lately, it is linked below. Enjoy!
