From the Principal:
Our students have already learned so much, from their academic learning to learning what it means to be a LifeLeader all around our school! Encourage your child to share with you all that they are learning. Ask open-ended questions and focus on their answers!
Our Big Kahuna fundraiser is off and running! We would love to have your help in raising money for our school. Our Big Kahuna fundraiser runs through September 12.
Please see an additional flyer on "Coffee and Conversation with the Principal"! I'd love to see you join us for an hour of learning about what is going on at LSRO and a round table discussion over LifeLeader. Hope to see you there!
Have a great 3-day weekend!

INFORMATION LITERACY
When you are ready to learn you have the ability to efficiently and accurately locate information. You are able to evaluate the information and determine its worth, then use the information to achieve your goal. By doing these things, you are using the leader attribute INFORMATION LITERACY.
This weeks I will statement is: “I will make sure that the information I use helps me to reach my goals.”
Perfect Attendance Incentives
Life School Red Oak would like to encourage our students to be in attendance each day to make sure they can “Ready to Learn, Ready to Lead, Ready for Life.” We will hold a drawing at the end of each month for all students that have perfect attendance for that month. Students must have perfect attendance during the month, no absences, tardies, or early checkouts. There will be a prize for students that are in Kindergarten thru 3rd grade and a prize for students in 4th grade thru 6th grade. The prize winners will be announced during morning announcements and we will contact the parents/guardians to come by the office to pick up the prizes. Please see Pages 3-4 of the Student Handbook for the Attendance guidelines.
