Tax Credit Scholarship

As we approach the end of the year, consider making a gift to The Catholic School of St. Eugene by contributing to the Tax Credit Scholarship program. This year, our school received $67,000+ in tuition assistance from the TCS, which will allow us to give more students the gift of a Catholic education. Christmas Toy Drive Success!

A big THANK YOU to all of our families who donated gifts to the Christmas Connection this week! We collected enough gift items to fill three shopping carts and the back of a truck! Thanks to you, Christmas will be brighter for some of the more than 770 families served by Christmas Connection. Thank you!

Sweatshirt Orders

Our Flynn O’Hara sweatshirt order is shipped and on the way! We expect them to arrive next week just in time for some slightly cooler weather. We will send home in student backpacks late next week.

Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Wednesday, Dec. 8th is a Holy Day of Obligation. Students will attend mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception at 8:15am, as well as our normal school mass on Thursday. Please have your students wear their regular uniform on Wednesday and their mass uniform on Thursday as usual.

Christmas Break

Christmas break is on the horizon! Our last day of school this quarter will be Friday, Dec. 17th. Return to school for the 3rd quarter/2nd Semester on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022!

Please check your FACTS to clear outstanding balances that could result in a report card hold.

Advent Resources

We have been enjoying the beginning of this beautiful season of Advent with reflection and prayer. Please join us as we prepare for the birth of Jesus by participating in one or many of the Advent activities Mrs. Goldsworthy shared in her Taking Flight newsletter last week.

Your Silhouette Portrait cut freehand LIVE on Zoom by Master Scissor Artist Karl Johnson

Hosted by the Catholic School of St. Eugene on Dec 10, 2021 from 11am-6:30pm. Please join Renowned Silhouette Artist Karl Johnson at a LIVE virtual event where he will be creating hand cut silhouette portraits! Each one takes just minutes and all ages are welcome - even the squirmy ones. Karl can take a photo if your little one is wiggly! Original Silhouettes are $35. Payment is made when you register for the event. Please reserve one time slot per person. Duplicate silhouettes and frames will also be available for purchase. Your completed silhouettes will be mailed to you after the event with free shipping! *Important note: Appointments are listed in Pacific Time, please convert for your time zone! Eternal rest grant unto her, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. | Please pray for Linda Skinner, a mentor and dear friend to Mrs. Goldsworthy and Mrs. Jackson. She is going through chemo. | Please pray for the healing of Sasha, cousin to Mark Roby and granddaughter to Mrs. Neal. | Please pray for the healing of Dub Wheeler, grandfather or Gehrig and Gabby. He has numerous medical issues, and needs the extra prayers. | Continues to pray for the healing of Nick Aguilera, nephew of Mrs. Goldsworthy and alum of CSSE. | Pray for those in our community who are quarantined, ill, or struggling to recover from COVID-19 | Pray for those who have perished to COVID-19 and for their families who are grieving the loss of these loved ones. | Pray for our staff, students, and their families. Altogether Lovely! A Mother/Daughter Gathering The first Mother/Daughter Event for older girls was a hit, so we decided to do one for younger girls! This event will focus on teaching girls truth, beauty, and what to expect when their bodies begin changing and they start their cycles. It is recommended for ages 8-12. The event will be bilingual... and free! Space is limited, so email to sign up! More info:

It’s time to sign up for the Best Advent Ever! Receive video reflections beginning on the first day of Advent, Sunday, November 28.

  • This year’s program is about finding the inspiration you need to say no to what draws you to the darkness of worry and fear and yes to what draws you to the light of healing and hope! Matthew Kelly and the wisdom of his new book, Life Is Messy, will be your guide in that journey. Copies will be available in the narthex soon!

  • Parishioners simply need to go to the Dynamic Catholic website and sign up with their name & email address.
