The Blue Angel Weekly

April 24, 2023

Dear PCA Families,

Today we had a Safety Drill with the students. As mentioned in the email that was sent earlier today, the students did a great job!

You may have noticed the officer on campus this morning. As you know I have been working with the SJCSO, Monsignor Brennan, and the Diocese to have additional protection for our school. Until we can determine if we can have a full-time officer assigned to our campus, we will have off-duty officers covering as often as possible. We are grateful for this opportunity.

Our middle school students will be going on their end-of-the-year field trips on Thursday. Please keep them in your prayers as they travel to Orlando.

The Confirmation Retreat on Saturday was beautiful! The students were well-behaved and enjoyed a day of faith and fellowship. Thank you for your continued prayers for our Confirmandi as they approach Confirmation day on May 11.

Please also keep our second graders in your prayers. They will be receiving First Eucharist throughout the month of May.

***School Mass Changes*** PLEaSE READ

For increased security, only CLEARED family members will be allowed to attend our Children's Mass. If you are cleared and would like to attend, you will need to enter through the front doors and sign-in at the front office. Please arrive early so you have time to go through this process. You must wear your sticker badge that the computer generates for you at all times while you are in the building. Thank you for you patience and cooperation with this new procedure.

If you still need your clearance, please see the website for information on how to proceed: https://www.pcapvb.org/forms

No school Mass on May 2 - May Crowning

We will not have our Children's Mass on May 2, since no priests are available to celebrate with us. Instead we will have our May Crowning with the students which will include a Rosary. Please send your child to school with a flower for Mary and their Rosary beads on that day.

Continued prayers!

Thank you for all your prayers, PCA families! Please continue to storm heaven with prayers for Mrs. Earp and Ms. Cashin!

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." - Mark 11:24
