The TES staff and students appreciate all of the support last week with the loss of Ms. Lorrie Gardner. Please know we will continue to support our students and staff as we move forward. Grief is not on a timeline, and we are often are impacted later and not in the moment. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher, Lis Gardner- TES Counselor, Laura Knight- TSD Social Workers, or myself. We are here for those that need us!

Thanks for all who attended the Donuts with Grown-ups! What a great way to start the day for our Miner Bees. TEF is sponsoring a movie night for all of our Miner Bees and their families on Thursday, May 18th. It is a FREE night of fun for everyone! We hope to see all of you there with your sleeping bags and/or lawn chairs!

Selena Sermano, an educational psychologist who has worked with our schools in the past, will be working with staff, students, and the community to gain input and language to start to draft a statement that will eventually be adopted by the board. She will be in our schools on April 24th & 25th. We will have a community forum for parents and community members who are interested in attending. It will take place at 5:15pm in the Telluride Middle/High School Library on Monday, April 24th. Please feel free to join that discussion.

May 23rd: No early release for all TSD. Buses will run at the regular (M/W/Th/F) time.
May 30th: Early release TES and TIS. No early release for TMHS. Buses will still run at the Tuesday Early Release time.

Plain White 100% Cotton T-Shirts needed for Tie-Dying!

Mrs. Evans will be tie-dying with all K-2 students the second week of May, to prepare for TES Field Day! Please send a plain white t-shirt for your son/daughter to school. (If you would like to purchase and donate small packs of t-shirts, we will be accepting donations.) 100% Cotton shirts are best.

Deadline for bringing shirts in is Friday, May 5th.
