Madison County Schools Improves Internet Connectivity for Digital initiative

HGHS made headlines in the news with its partnership with the Madison County School District and Adtran. ADTRAN has installed its ProCloud managed service for WiFi in several schools including HGHS. The company's wireless access points are spread throughout the school to allow students to have high-speed Internet access no matter where they are in the building. This infrastructure is helping Madison County Schools increase its digital learning capabilities, and administrators are also exploring the idea of allowing teachers to instruct students at home. This could potentially make a "Snow Day" become just another day of school.
