March 14

Good evening Viper families,

Good evening Viper families,

This week we have minimum days for Student Led Conferences on Wednesday, March 17th and Thursday, March 18th. All students will have minimum days with dismissal at 11:29 am. Students who are on campus will be able to pick up a sack lunch in the cafeteria before they leave campus. All students and parents will have a Student Led Conference focused on student strengths, areas of growth, and goals that will last 40 minutes in total.

This year all conferences are virtual meetings on Zoom with the student’s Advisory teacher, please use your student’s Canvas calendar to join the conference. The conference format will begin with student leadership and presentation to the parent, then the Advisory teacher will join the Zoom meeting to help create goals for learning, and next students and parents will create action steps and complete a feedback survey.

Please remember to set your clocks ahead one hour for Daylight Saving Time, which started today, Sunday March 14th.

Lastly, please return your library books to school whenever possible. We love checking out library books to our students but if we don’t get books back we start to run low on options for our students. If you have any overdue library books please bring them back on any school day between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm.

Thank you and have a great evening,

Vista Magnet Middle School
