Message From The Principal

Hello Eagles!

We are living in unprecedented times: a pandemic, a withdrawal from a 20 year war, a category 4 hurricane in the gulf, flash flooding in New York and forest fires in northern California. With all of this happening, it is a good time to take a moment to appreciate what we have.

I get to live in an amazing city, have wonderful weather, work with an terrific staff who truly cares about students and each other. My family is healthy and occasionally laugh at my dad jokes. My glass is far greater than half full.

Please enjoy this Labor Day weekend.

Think different. Be different.

Tim Dignan

No School on Monday Sep. 6th Labor Day

Labor Day is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. The holiday is rooted in the late nineteenth century, when labor activists pushed for a federal holiday to recognize the many contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being.

Students Of The Week

Ruben Vasquez

Ruben is here everyday, ready to work and moves forward! Ruben is kind and respectful and is just a good person. He is moving forward in Credit recovery and is completing modules. He also won our class raffle for a Walmart gift card! In order to be eligible he needed to have 100% attendance and significant progress in Edgenuity! GO RUEBEN!!

Ruben should be recognized as student of the week for his overall quality as a student at RVHS. Ruben brings such a happy and pleasant vibe to the campus, along with this, Ruben is always on task and engaged in whatever activity is happening in class. It really great to have such great students at RVHS!

Joel Huerta Tafoya

Joel has been doing a great job of submitting his assignments. I am proud of how hard he is working to turn things around. Great job, Joel! Keep it up!

Trinity Gothe

Trinity is doing a great job in the Business Math class. Maintaining an A is not always easy, although by attending class, asking questions when needed, and completing work on time, Trinity has done just this. Couldn't be happier about her performance.
