Tips For Success from Brother Frank
Not letting a problem Monday continue Tuesday
Greetings of love, joy, peace and much hope!
I really hope each parent realizes that your child is in a school that cares deeply about every student. We have a genuine desire that your child is successful and earns a high grade in each class, because we know your child has that potential!
Please encourage your child to get along with the teachers and other staff that are here to serve your child. We ask that each parent talk with their children to let them know that the teachers and support staff really want to solve their differences peacefully with all students.
If your child has a concern with a teacher or a staff person, please encourage them to talk with the person they had a problem with. I am writing this same message to all of our teachers and staff so that they also have the desire to solve all differences peacefully.
If at home differences are handled peacefully without putdowns nor threats, students have more of a tendency to solve differences with teachers calmly also.
If your child comes to class on time, is respectful, follows rules and works very hard all class period long, there is a less chance your child will have a problem with the teacher.
I want to lovingly encourage all parents to have a meeting with their children every day after school to see how things have gone. If there has been a difference with an adult or another student, please encourage your child to settle it peacefully as soon as possible, and ask for help if necessary!
Let’s have the best year of our educational experience so far!
