“Acting Shakespeare”
A 3-week for OCEAN Middle & High School students
Taught by Marc Weinblatt
3 Mondays; 3:00 - 4:30 PM
Oct. 23, 30, Nov. 6
(possible 4th class on Nov. 13)
This highly interactive mini-class will demystify and help students decode the language in the plays of William Shakespeare so you can easily make sense of it and actually enjoy it. Students will explore acting in various Shakespearean scenes and monologues with a focus to have fun and play together through Shakespeare’s poetic language. No homework and no theatre background required.
* This class will be helpful but not required to be in the OCEAN winter production of “Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
