Third Trimester Updates
For any course that is left incomplete, a "What-If" report is run to auto-zero all incomplete assignments, quizzes, or tests, and a grade is given. Final grades will be posted slightly into trimester III, as we have to wait for Pearson teachers to grade all activities.
Your trimester III courses will be available on Monday, March 13. Please let me know if you have any questions or different plans for the third trimester.
Returning to In-Person
The third trimester begins Monday, March 13th.
If we do not receive the devices a week into the third trimester, you will be fined for all devices that are missing.
Career Speaker Series
On March 16th Otsego will be holding our first Career Speaker Series at the middle school for OVA students. Each student will be able to attend 2 sessions to listen to speakers from a variety of career paths. Please fill out the form below and let us know which areas you would be most interested in. We will do our best to match your selections.
The first session will start at 9:45 a.m. and students would need to be picked up after the second session at 11:00a.m. on March 16.
This is a great opportunity to hear about various career pathways!

CKH: Courage
What is Courage?
Courage is the ability and strength to face something that may be difficult or challenging. Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather perseverance in the presence of fear and the willingness to stand up for what is right or to try something new even though it may be uncomfortable or uncertain.
Why focus on Courage?
- Courage encourages engagement. Courage helps students raise their hand, participate, try new things, and voice their opinions.
- Courage builds self-confidence. Courage is the choice to act. By doing something, students increase their belief in themselves and their ability to do difficult or challenging things.
- Courage can help reframe a negative. When something does not go as planned or a student gets upset about a mistake or failure, courage can help reframe the event in a positive light.

OVA Classroom
OVA has a classroom now! We are still located inside the Otsego Middle School building, but our new room is located directly off of the cafeteria. There is a single door located just north of the custodian overhead doors on the west side of the building (facing the high school). Please use this door if you are coming to the classroom. If you do not have a scheduled time with a teacher or administrator, please use the OMS office door, as the OVA office is not currently staffed at all times.
