Harvest Festival is coming soon......... Sunday October 14th.
We come together to say 'Thank You' for all the good things we enjoy in life and later to have a good time whilst raising money for a South American children's charity.
So what happens when???
10am Harvest Church Service
Children bring harvest gifts to the altar during the first hymn.
Harvest gifts can be anything suitable which can be auctioned in the evening.
After the first hymn the children go upstairs to Sunday Club for most of the service and we stay in church for a service of Holy Communion.
6.30pm Harvest Supper and auction.
We enjoy a pie and pea supper...there is no charge but please sign the list so we know how many pies to get. Please say if you are vegetarian.
After supper we have the AUCTION when we sell all the harvest gifts. The money raised goes to support a charity in Columbia which cares for street children.
