More than 160,00 people are bullied a year.
Every year 160,000 and more are bullied and they want to stay home instead of showing their face at school. 43% are bullied online (cyber bullied) 1 in 4 has had it happen to them more than 1 time. 68% of teenagers say cyber bulling is actually a serious problem.
Every year 4,400 people do suicide because of bullying.
Bullied victims are 7 to 9% more likely to consider suicide according to a study by Yale University. Studies in Britain have found half of the suicides among youth related to bullying. 10 to 14 year old girls may be at even higher risk for suicide.
