Anita Cranford worked with the Technology teacher, Chris Terzigni, at her school to produce book talk videos about some of the NC Children's Book awards. Great job! I am sure they have a QR Code to share with others. If you have any questions, contact Anita Cranford at Archer Elementary.

Great Read Across America Idea

Standard 4, Element c: School library media coordinators promote reading as a foundational skill for learning.

Maybe you can help this Wisconsin SLMC with her Read Across America project or maybe this will springboard connections of your own: https://sites.google.com/a/wdpsd.com/hc-libra...

BOOK IT February Ideas...

Make spreading the LOVE of reading a priority this February. Valentine's Day is just around the corner...a perfect time to celebrate the BOOK IT! goal to "read your heart out." Help parents celebrate their young reader by downloading the "Date Night" pack to send home. Use these heart-shaped exclusive spelling and word hunt printables to spread the love of reading in your classroom this month. It is also Library Lovers Month - so be sure and thank the librarian at your school and the local library for all they do to keep books in students' hands.
