Sahana Gadgil is a multifaceted student. She not only works hard in all her classes, but also participates in volleyball, basketball, and dance. All of which she excels in while keeping her teachers and fellow classmates/teammates smiling. Sahana has a Doberman Pincher named Kaya, pronounced kay-a to be unique! Currently, her favorite classes are Science where she had so much fun dissecting her frog and Texas History. Sahana is interested in being a Pediatrician someday because she likes kids and kids make her happy. She is just pretty much awesome!
Todd Wasserman has been teaching Spanish for 22 years, half of his career has been at Sartartia. Info from FBISD Child Nutrition Regarding Pork Products
The diversity of our school community makes it particularly important that we are as communicative as possible about everything that we do at SMS. Therefore, please take note about information recently received from FBISD Child Nutrition about which products prepared in our cafeterias contain pork. This comes up each year, and we wanted all parents to be informed about what does and does not contain pork. See list below of menu items and what they are actually made of:
- Breakfast Sausage Pizza (turkey sausage)
- Hot Dogs (beef hot dogs)
- Sausage Patties (chicken sausage)
- Ham Sandwiches (turkey ham)
- Ham on Chef Salads (turkey ham)
- Pepperoni Pizza (turkey & beef pepperoni)
- Mega Meat Pizza (PORK)
- Sausage on a Bun (PORK)
