A Message from our PTO
Mustang Families,
We are coming up on Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week at H.H. Poole (May 8th-12th). Our Appreciation Committee has an amazing slate of events and gifts planned for our faculty, staff, and bus drivers throughout the week. They are in need of some donations to help make these events happen. I'm including links to an Amazon wish list and a SignUp Genius for the supplies they need. If you make a donation through the Amazon wish list, please select "Jen-H.H.Poole PTO's Gift Registry Address" as the shipping address, as this will send the items directly to Jen, our Appreciation Committee Chair. If you make a donation through the SignUp Genius, those items can be dropped off at the school front office any time between now and May 8th.

Thank you all so much for your continued generosity and support, and helping us show our H.H. Poole Faculty and Staff just how much we appreciate them!
H .H. Poole STEAM Night
On Thursday, May 11th from 6:00-7:30 pm, HH Poole Middle School invites you to explore STEAM with us! There will be opportunities to play with cool STEAM products, a showcase of student work, resources from local STEAM businesses, and an exciting edible derby! Fun family activities for all ages will be offered.
Families- we are looking for volunteers to help support this night. Please complete this survey if you are able to help in any way- either via resources and information or on the night itself.
PTO Nominations are Open
HHP's PTO is looking to fill some important positions in their Exec. Board for next year. We would love to have more families involved in all of the amazing things our PTO does to support our school and our students.
Nominations are officially open, and can be made at any time up to the start of the elections. Elections will be held at our next PTO meeting on May 10, 2023 at 7PM in the H.H. Poole library. FAMILY SAFETY WORKSHOP SERIES
Stafford County Public Schools, in partnership with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office and the Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department, presents a series of Family Safety Workshops for Stafford families. These workshops will cover critical safety and awareness education for parents, students, and community members. All workshop sessions are FREE and open to the public.

NJHS Meetings
- For the remainder of the school year, our group will hold meetings on the first Monday of each month:
- March 6th, April 3rd, and May 1st.
- All members are expected to attend meetings; we will hold both a morning (8:20-8:50 AM) and an afternoon (4:15-4:45 PM) session on each date. Each member should choose 1 session to attend.
- Members and their families should discuss which session will work best for their schedules before choosing when to attend.
- Please complete the Google Form to RSVP by the Thursday before each Monday meeting.
- Unfortunately, SCPS does not have activity buses for middle school, so families will need to coordinate transportation or provide permission for the student to walk to or from their chosen meeting time. If a member is not able to attend, they should still use the RSVP Form to let us know that as well.
