~ Progress Reports ~

The second marking period ended March 4. Student Progress Reports are available THIS Wednesday, 3/16, around 3:30 pm. They are available via the ParentPortal on PowerSchool.

You must have an active account set up. If you have any difficulty accessing your account and Progress Report, please contact our main office. Paper copies can be made available upon request.

Please review your child's Progress Report. Just note, many students are still a little behind due to COVID and the interruption to instruction the last 2 years. That being said, we are happy with the progress students have been making. Reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions or are looking for ways to support.

~ Teacher Requested Conferences ~

3-HR Early Release Days

Thursday & Friday, March 17-18, are 3-HR Early Release Days for Teacher Requested Parent Conferences.

Ongoing communication between home and school is essential in providing a high quality education for every child. We feel this is the perfect time to have a touch-base conversation with parents about student progress in the event growth is not what we would like it to be at this time.

While we are open to meeting with parents at any point in the school year, these March conferences will be arranged by teacher request on an as-needed basis. If a conference is not requested, it is because we do not feel it is necessary at this time or that we are current in communication. As always, if you would like to discuss your child’s progress or have questions, feel free to contact us at any time throughout the school year.

~ Author Visit ~

We could not have been more excited then to have our first, In-Person Assemblies last week. The PTA brought in Author, Terri Sorrentino, to discuss the Writing Process and to share her books. Another step toward a return to normalcy ;0)

Thank you PTA!

Out of the Mouths of Babes.....

Mr. M (looking to cause trouble) walked into a classroom

with a plate, a fork, and a piece of cake.

"Hey, are all you enjoying your cake

as much as me?" asked Mr. M

Students looked up confused.

"Oh, you don't have any cake. Only I do. My mistake, I'm sorry" said the grinning Principal

"Are you kidding me? " said one student

"That wasn't nice" said another student

"Weren't you just complaining yesterday about being

out of breath walking up here? " said the third *#@%
