Coffee and Conversation on Meaningful Summer Activities & PTA

Join us for a conversation with ECLC’s Administrators and Specialists on Meaningful Summer Activities and come help us celebrate PTA. This will be a great way for parents to get to know each other and close out the school year. It will be followed by an optional PTA general meeting. Refreshments will be provided.

PTA will be holding their final general meeting on May 27th in the MPR after the Coffee and Conversation event. This will begin around 2:00 pm. Voting for the next year's PTA board members will occur at this time. All parents are welcome to come!

Spring Photos
You will be receiving Spring Photos from your teacher sometime this week. If you decide to purchase photos, please keep the ones you purchase and return the envelope back to your teacher. If you decide NOT to purchase any photos, please return the entire envelope back to your teacher.

IUSD 50th Anniversary
This year marks the Irvine Unified School District’s 50th anniversary and is a time to reflect on the “US” at the center of IUSD, which has enabled our school district to provide the highest quality educational experience we can envision for generations of students. Throughout 2022, IUSD will be honoring, celebrating and recognizing our collective history.
Students, staff, families and the community are at the heart of the “US” in IUSD and we invite you to help us visually capture the wonderful aspects of our school district, through IUSD’s 50th Anniversary Photo Contest!
The Contest is Open to Photographers of All Ages!
The Contest, which runs through May 17, is open to current and former IUSD students, staff and families, along with community members of all ages!
Students participating in yearbook, photography or other related courses, or who are involved with ASB, clubs and other school events are welcome to submit photos they have taken for these activities.

In order to better serve our students, families, and staff IUSD has partnered with Care Solace mental health services to connect families to outside care providers. Care Solace provides concierge services to assist families in navigating mental health services in the community. Family Support Network
Family Support Network offers a Free behavior management services for children ages 0-5 called Bloom. It includes five individualized sessions to meet the unique needs of each family. They help to educate families experiencing behaviors due to unexpected changes, diagnosis, or emotional trauma.

What is the Lending Library?
The CRC Lending Library features tools to support every area of children's development from birth through school age, including:
- Children's books to extend early learning
- Children's music CDs: classical, jazz, world music, and contemporary children's artists
- Child development, parenting, activity, and curriculum books
- Family child care business reference materials
- DVDs and training materials for parents and early childhood educators
- Educational toys: math manipulatives, music and movement materials, emergent literacy resources, science materials

FREE Meals Families Forward
If families need food assistance, Families Forward offers a drive-thru food pantry (M-F) 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., located at 8 Thomas Drive in Irvine. The drive-thru stations will provide non-perishable items to families each week. No appointment is necessary. Visit Families Forward for more information.
