From the Desk of Dr. Ricks
Thank you to all who helped make our fall parties such a great success. The kids had a ball celebrating the end of a very fruitful October. Bring on the turkey!
Our Parents' Guild Meeting last night was informative and a great time for us to gather and talk about ways in which we can help make GES an even better place for your children. Meg Wood gave an update on our upcoming Gala, and "save the date" information will come home soon. Meg, along with Dana DeGravelle and Claire Gordon, are leading the festivities, and I am so excited to be able to celebrate our 20th year of the Gala with you this year. Also, the results of this year's teachers' survey were shared along with some classroom needs. Finally, budget updates were shared. Thank you for selling Evergreens and attending our Fall Festival. Your amazing support helps make everyday at Grace special.
We are looking forward to our Veteran's Day Program this Wednesday at 2pm in Grace Church. Sarah Cummins is speaking, and she will share her experiences from her time spent in the JAG Corps.
Have a wonderful weekend, and don't forget to turn your clocks back!
Warmly,
Dr. Ricks
