For Dallas Oncology Center
This past summer, Melissa High School senior Alex McGuinness was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma. For the past three months, he has been receiving treatments under the supervision of the doctors in the Oncology Department at Children's Medical Center in Dallas.
After his early visits, Alex suggested to his mother that they start a treasure chest consisting of small toys and craft items as a way to reward his fellow patients for their bravery as they face scary procedures in their fight against cancer. Please join with us as we support Alex and the McGuinness family, as well as the many other patients of the Oncology Department at Children's Medical Center. With your help, we can bring smiles to pediatric cancer patients and help spread joy to them and their families.
MHS Toy Drive
Thank you for your support. We will be collecting small toys and craft items throughout the year. Our first scheduled date to deliver toys is September 28, 2013. You may send them with a student or bring them to the school during normal school operating hours.
