Kindness Campaign Update
Throughout each week, students will complete an activity that is worth 1,000 points for 1st Place, 750 points for 2nd place, and 500 points for 3rd place.
This past week, students completed their commitment to kindness pledge. Our 8th graders won this activity by having 68% of their class making a devotion to kindness. Our 6th graders came in second place with 64% and our 7th graders came in third with 60%.
At the conclusion of this week, our leader board has changed...
1st Place - 8th Grade - 3,928 points
2nd Place - 7th Grade - 3,762 points
3rd Place - 6th Grade - 3,268 points
Students will be given their kindness activity in Coyote Core+ this Thursday, and an update to the standings will be publicized next Friday!

The Cypress Creek Middle School Administration continued to honor staff members today with some crazy fun and a cupcake. Each recipient is selected by his her department administrator as recognition for going above and beyond in the classroom and/or for their many contributions to the school and the students that it serves.

Next Year's 7th Grade Vaccinations
Parents of incoming 7th graders for of the 22-23 school year. All 7th graders are required to have a Tdap with an updated DH 680 form. Please call your students primary care provider to make an appointment. If your student has already received the Tdap vaccine please provide the school with the updated DH 680 form. If the required documents are not received by the first day of school, your child will be excluded from school until proof of the vaccine is provided.

You are welcome to type the letter or hand write it and deliver it to our front office to the attention of Julieann Usry. All letters will be placed in the student's individual envelope and given to them at the 8th grade breakfast. All shouts outs are due by Friday May 13th.

Mobile Medical Clinic for Families
You may be aware but here is a resource for families to receive medical care, dental, mental health, and some prescriptions at no cost.
The State Attorney Mobile Medical Clinic is a medical office on wheels where Pasco County residents can receive basic health care at no charge. Emergency services are not provided at this clinic.
The Mobile Medical Clinic’s full-time staff includes a director, nurse practitioner, and driver. The clinic often has community volunteers, doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals to assist.
Appointments are not necessary; walk-ins are welcome.
What does the mobile medical clinic offer?
The Clinic travels to more than a dozen locations throughout Pasco County serving the homeless and residents who have no insurance.
- Employment physicals, with some exceptions
- School and Sports physicals
- Laboratory services, limited
- Pregnancy testing
- Hepatitis B vaccines
- HIV/HEP C testing
- Some prescription assistance. No drugs are kept on board the unit.
- Treatment for brief illness.
- Strep throat and flu are examples.
- Treatment for long-term illnesses. High blood pressure and diabetes are examples.
Limited referrals are offered and can include:
- Dental services
- Mental Health and Substance abuse
- Primary and Specialty care
