Meet Mrs. Senn's student teacher!

Hi, my name is Jordan Bowen and I will be working as a student teacher for the next sixty days in your child's music classroom. This is the eighth and final semester of my training as

a music teacher. I am from Lexington but have been in school in Greenwood at Lander University for four years. Outside of working with children and music some of my interests include reading, playing rugby, and spending time with my husky puppy, Dakota. I will be working with the students in various capacities both with small and large groups for several musical activities. I will gradually increase my responsibilities with the students over the course of the semester and conduct four lead teaching weeks. I'm excited to work with your child this semester and help them become the best musician they can be!

Label those coats and jackets!

As temperatures are getting cooler, please take the time to write your child's name in his/her coat, jacket, sweatshirts in order to identify misplaced articles. Also, remind your child to check the lost and found if missing something. The lost and found is located at the end of Wellness Way, right past the cafeteria.

School doors open at 7:00.

Please do not drop off children and pull away before 7:00 am. Doors are unlocked at 7:00, and dropping them off earlier means that they are outside unsupervised. For the safety of your children, please wait until you see an adult open the school doors to let your children out of the car. Thank you for putting safety first!

Please have your child at school by 7:40. If not, please walk them inside to the office.

Please do not drop children off, watch them enter the doors, and pull off. This is not a safe practice, and we ask you for the safety of your children to please walk them inside.

Need to change your child's transportation - phone call or handwritten notes accepted.

Please make sure you communicate any transportation changes through a handwritten note or phone call to the front office at 821-4200 before 2pm. Do not communicate transportation changes via an email to the teacher. Your email may not be read before dismissal.
