Reminder on COVID Guidelines: Please review these guidelines.
If a student has developed new, unexplained symptoms, they should stay home until it is clear that the symptoms are mild and improving or are due to a non-infectious cause (e.g., allergies). They must be fever free for over 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications, and it also has to be over 24 hours with no diarrhea or vomiting.
If they are experiencing COVID related symptoms, it is strongly recommended that they wear a mask and get tested immediately. If they test positive, the health office should be notified, and we will go over when they can return to school. They no longer have to show proof if they test negative.
Possible symptoms for COVID include:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
Warmly,
Carla Aranda
