Happy New Year!!!!
We hope every had a restful and joyful winter break! We are so excited about all that is to come in this new year! Please make sure to carefully read this newsletter in its entirety, as there is a lot of information about upcoming events.
Good luck to our Area candidates as they compete tomorrow for a spot in the Texas All-State Choir!

Next Week, At a Glance:
Solo and Ensemble Contest: Monday, February 7 at TMHS
Students who have chosen or been given solos and ensembles should be working on the music in voice lessons, and on their own at home. A rehearsal schedule will be set up beginning next week for students to work with Ms. White and Mr. Ragsdale.
The fees to participate are as follows:
Class One Solo - $30
Class Two Solo - $25
Class Three Solo - $25
Ensemble - $10
Payment will be made online, and the link will be sent out in next weeks newsletter!
Students prepare and memorize a solo piece and will perform it for a judge and receive a rating.
Pop Show: February 18 and 19
Our Choir Pop Show, "Turn of the Century" will be an amazing performance! We hope to see you there, so mark your calendar for Friday, February 18 and Saturday, February 19 at 7:00PM
Tickets will available soon to purchase through school cash online.

Pop Show Program Ads
Payments can be made in the shop section of the choir website: www.tmhschoir.com
Ads should be submitted to colleenbraune@sbcglobal.net with the subject line Pop Show Ads. Don't forget to include your attachments and message. Deadline for submission is Friday, January 21, 2022.
All ads must be camera - ready; the ad you give us should appear exactly like you want it in our program. For best results, it should have sharp black and white art that can be easily duplicated. All file formats are acceptable, but hi-resolution pdfs work best with photos (when zooming in to 300-500% no pixilation or blurred images / text).
Spring Trips
Please continue making payments for both Choir trips. We are nearing deadlines for all payments to be due, so please make sure you are making payments!
