"Quote of the Week"
All In!
SPED! ELL! ESL! At the end of this week via Faculty Meeting or in conversations in PLC these groups became the topic of discussion. Supplemental Aides and Designated Supports are opportunities for our students to have help on their exams from materials they see daily. Please make sure that all materials are submitted to Mrs. Bradley, this year we will be proactive and not reactive. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to see Mrs. Bradley for assistance.
Meadowbrook Remembers!
Thank you to Chief Lard and our JCC for their participation inthe 2019 MLK Parade on January 21, 2019.
Congratulations!
Give a pat on the back for a job well done to the players and coaches of Boys 7th and 8th grade Basketball Teams. They won their tournaments this past weekend!
Buffalo Builder
Thank you for participating in our Buffalo Builder. I heard great conversations between the students and teachers.
Allergic 2 Average
Coming soon to your email you will receive a report that indicates the number of times a student will count against Meadowbrook in Domain 3. It will be important to remember these students when planning for tutoring, Saturday school, or any type of Tier 2 or Tier 3 Intervention. The time will soon come for everyone to consider a goal we talked about in the beginning of the school year "Individualized student plans!"
Internet vs. School
I heard a speaker this weekend at the technology conference and he said something that had me and many other participants thinking. What messaging do we give students in school? Today our students have many search engines to find information. One that many of us may not have thought about, is YouTube. You tube channels, made mostly by random people with thoughts and ideas, teach our students and adults how to do many task. You Tube (the internet) in a sense gives everyone the message that you can do anything.
Benchmark Testing Assignments
Please see the email sent by Mrs. Bradley from January 23, 2019 for your testing assignment.
