NEEDED: PICTURES FOR SENIOR VIDEO
We are collecting photos for the senior video. If you would like to submit a photo of a senior, please send it via email to Mrs. Hicks at firstname.lastname@example.org. Guidelines: 1)email photos, 2) pictures from the last four years please (no baby or child photos), 3) give the names of all the seniors in the photos, 4)submit by April 30th. **Please note, If you submit several of the same person, not all photos may be used. The goal is to have as many of the seniors in the video as possible. Questions? See Mrs. Hicks in room B06 before or after school.

If you are graduating and want to earn money while learning construction you need to look at the attached information flier for their Hardhat in Hand program.
4-H MENTORING PROGRAM
Where: Offutt Air Force Base Youth Center
When: One day a week after school for 1-1.5 hours
May 2020 to May 2021
This is a year-long, 1 day a week volunteer commitment. You will be mentoring 8 to 14 year old youth and enriching their lives with the intent of building meaningful, positive relationships. This is a great opportunity to gain NHS service hours. Applications are available in Career Ed and are due to the Douglas-Sarpy 4-H by April 3rd.
PAPILLION COMMUNITY FOUNDATION INTERNSHIP
The Papillion Community Foundation is looking for 2 interns, one from each Papillion La Vista high school. The internship is a 24-month program beginning May 1, 2020, for current sophomores. This internship is a Junior and Senior year commitment. The internship offers opportunities to participate in fundraising, community event planning, marketing, public speaking, finance, social media and general office functions. At the conclusion of the internship, you will receive financial assistance at the college of your choice. Applications are available in the Career Ed Center and are due to the Foundation's Executive Director by Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

BIG RED SUMMER ACADEMIC CAMPS
Big Red Summer Academic Camps are college and career exploration camps designed for students who will be in grades 10-12 for the 2020-2021 school year. These are residential camps. Housing and food will be provided for all participants throughout the duration of the camp. Limited scholarships are available. Career exploration areas offered this summer include: Agriculture & Natural Resources, Animation, Digital Media, Engineering, Film making, Talent in Startups, Teaching, Unicameral Youth Legislature, and Veterinary Science. The Greater Omaha Council Bluffs Area Council on Youth Leadership is currently requesting applications for the 2020 "Youth Salute". To qualify, a student must be a high school junior and have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher through their sophomore year. They must also have held two leadership roles to which they were chosen by their peers or an adult leader with the past two years in school, religious or community sponsored organizations.
All juniors who qualify should pick up their application form from the guidance office. All applications forms must be completed and returned to the guidance office by April 3, 2020.
