FVES Parent Booster Club Supports Online Instruction Thanks to our Parent Booster Club our teachers received financial support to provide instructional tools that will help with online learning. We are excited to be able to bring back Mystery Science and Brain Pop to help us provide various engaging learning supplements for this school year. Thank you to our Parent Booster Club. | PE and Music There are no PE, Art or Music teachers at the elementary level this year. This is due to budget reductions and increasing staff at the K-2 levels due to the CDL model. However, there will be PE, Art, STEM and Music opportunities shared with students throughout the year. These will be ungraded opportunities that are supplemental for students. | Attendance in 2020-2021 During our CDL period attendance will be taken by teachers each day. Students will qualify for being present if they do either of the following during a day. (A day is now defined as a 24 hour period of time starting at 12a.m. and ending at 11:59p.m.) 1. Attend a synchronous session with their teacher. 2. Submit work asynchronously to their teacher. We will be sending a message around 5p.m. each day to households where the student has not engaged yet in either Synchronous or Asynchronous opportunities. |
