Haslet Elementary News to Know
February 2018
Principal's Message
February is Black-History Month and we are learning about the important contributions and achievements of African Americans throughout our nation's history. Students are researching, writing, and reading about the positive impact of these leaders. During morning meetings, our time is spent discussing how we too can show great character and make the world a better place.
This week is National School Counseling Week. We love Mrs. Gelnaw and appreciate all that she does for us!
Parental support at Haslet is the BEST! We had amazing volunteers for our Junior Achievement Day, a yummy PTA luncheon, a huge attendance at our STEM night, awesome WatchDogs, and have help daily for teachers and students. We are so thankful for all the support.
We are better because of you!
Sincerely,
Melissa Webber
