Passion Never Fails.
Food for thought:
Passion does not guarantee success. However, passion is the driving force and a necessary ingredient for obtaining success. Passion fuels confidence, creates excitement, and is contagious. When you’re passionate, you make those around you feel excited, and everyone wins. Your passion can help you do extraordinary things, and it has the power to spread to your students. It will ignite their curiosity, and give them confidence to learn. Teaching comes with
hurdles and many obstacles. However, your passion will drive you to excel despite the inevitable hurdles. Share your joy and your passion every day, because passion never fails.
Students may lose focus when they don’t understand concepts being taught. One way to increase student engagement is to provide concrete examples during lessons to help students grasp concepts. This will help students make real world connections to concepts resulting in deeper comprehension.
Note: Don't forget to give Caught Being Good passes and Positive Office Referrals to students who are displaying one or more of the three R's: Respect, Responsible, and/or Ready!

FBEF Cash Donations Due
Our campus is putting together a gift card basket for the Fort Bend Education Foundation (FBEF) Gala Silent Auction. This is a wonderful opportunity to raise funds that directly impact grants that touch ALL Fort Bend ISD schools.
We are collecting donations for the gift cards. Each staff member who donates a minimum of $5.00 will get to wear jeans for an entire week (February 18-22). Participation is optional. Please give all donations (cash only) to Ms. T. Williams by Friday, February 1st.
