Mrs. Kennedy's Friday Letter
April 21, 2017
News and Info.
I hope to see you all at the race bright and early tomorrow morning at our big Run Cougar Run race. I will be WALKING! LOL
A BIG thank you to everyone who was able to help with our Atlas Bag project. Mr. Miller said he collected over 60 bags. He came into the room and prayed over a bag with our students. We prayed for the kids who would be receiving our bags. I love that our kids get the opportunity for this real Christ-Like project that will bless our own community.
A big thank you to all my Spring Revue costume design helpers. The final decisions have been made and the costumes have been ordered and we will be adorable and colorful birds for sure. I have not received word back from anyone saying that your child can't be a part of this fun night, SO I am assuming everyone needs a costume. I need to know TODAY if your child will not be able to attend. I am hopeful for us to keep costume costs around $10.00.
From Mr. Priestly:
*The 1st annual Give a Book, Get a Book book exchange is happening in our elementary school currently. Students have been asked to bring in ALL of the books that you have at home that you are not going to read again. Please bring them and place them in the box that is outside of the elementary office before April, 28th.
