John Muir was born in Dunbar, Scotland on April 21st 1838. In 1849 John and his family emigrated to the U.S. Today he is known as America's most famous and influential naturalists and conversationist.
What he is known for
John traveled the world, observing the nature and the setting of the places. He is mainly remembered for his involvement in the protection of the Yosemite and Sierra Nevada wilderness areas in California. "One touch of nature, makes the whole world kin."
