Tyngsborough High School
October 22, 2021
What's Happening...
Eligible members of the Class of 2022 who participated in the spring 2021 MCAS received congratulatory letters for qualifying for the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship. The John and Abigail Adams Scholarship provides a tuition credit for up to eight semesters of undergraduate education at a Massachusetts state college or university.
Many of our seniors have been meeting with school counselors to submit college applications to meet early action deadlines. We wish you all the best as you continue through the college admissions process.
Congratulations to the golf team on winning the MidWach C Tournament and finishing 4th as a team in the Division 2 Central Tournament. Junior Trevor Drew shot a 75 in the tournament taking 3rd as an individual. He will compete in the Division 2 State Tournament Monday at Sandy Burr in Wayland.
Each year the Tyngsborough Public Schools sponsors the Adopt-A-Family program during the holiday season. To support this program we are once again holding a gift basket raffle. If anyone is interested in putting together or contributing items towards a basket it would be greatly appreciated. Raffle baskets should be dropped off to central office or your child's school by Friday, October 29, 2021.

COVID-19 Dashboard
Proof of Vaccination
As a reminder in an effort to better understand our current vaccination rate, and to assess how close we are to the 80% threshold we would like to give parents the option to provide proof of vaccination for your child. If your child has received the COVID-19 vaccination and you would like this information added to your child’s health record, please provide proof of vaccine through one of the following options:
Reply to this email with an attached copy of vaccination card (vaccination@tyngsboroughps.org)
Secure Health Office Fax (978) 649-9194
Photocopy your student’s proof of vaccination and send it into the school nurse in a sealed envelope addressed to the Health Office
While the school nurses have access to the Massachusetts State Immunization Registry which is a database that keeps confidential vaccination records in one place. Individuals choose to opt into this database which is typically offered by the primary care physician, or they may decline to have the information shared. As a result, our nurses do not always have the most updated information. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
