A note from the principal...

Hello Needmore Families!


This year's spirit wear sale begins today and continues through next week. Check out the information below to order your Needmore swag.


Picture retake day is next Thursday, Sept. 24. If your child was absent on picture day or you would prefer a retake of the original photo, register online from the information provided in the email that was sent last week from the photographer.


Robotics team applications are due this Thursday by 3:30. A parent signature is required on the application. We will announce the team after reviewing submitted applications. This is for students in grades 4-6. Good luck applicants!

View the options and place online orders by clicking HERE. Online orders and paper order forms will be available for students and families starting today, Monday, Sept. 13. Paper orders are being sent home with students or are available for download below to print. If you view the shirts online, the purple versions appear royal blue on the screen, but they will indeed be Needmore purple. The yellow will be Needmore golden yellow. Some of the designs are shown below but there are a variety of options for each design that you can view online or on the paper order form. Personalized water bottles are also available. Students are allowed to bring these water bottles to school so be sure to order one! Paper orders are due by next Friday, Sept. 24 and online orders will be accepted through Sunday, Sept. 26.

Needmore Robotics Team News

Needmore has a limited number of open spots on our Robotics Team! We are looking for students in grads 4-6 to join.


We are in search of creative students who enjoy thinking outside of the box, being challenged, and who love adventure for problem solving. If your child is interested, he or she will need to complete an application. Robotics applications are available in the office. All applicants will be considered for a spot on the team, based on their application, but not all are guaranteed a spot. Before applying please be sure to read the application in its entirety to fully understand the necessary requirements for students and parents. A parent signature is required on the application. Completed applications should be in the student's handwriting.


Applications are due by 3:30 on Thursday, September 16. No late applications will be accepted. Applications will be carefully reviewed and considered by the Needmore faculty.

NLCS Virtual Learning Day- October 1st

Friday, October 1st will be a virtual learning day at home for all NLCS students. There will be no in person school that day for students. Teachers will provide assignments for kids to complete at home on their chromebook during the day on Oct. 1st. Please be sure that your child returns their charged chromebook to school on the following Monday, Oct. 4 so the device can be ready to use in the classroom.

REMINDER: Masks are Required at School and on the Bus

Face coverings are required for students and staff while at school. Masks are also required when riding an NLCS bus based upon federal guidelines. Be sure your child has a mask (or two) in their backpack to use at school and on the bus.

NLCS Covid Protocols

Click HERE to view the updated NLCS Covid protocols. This includes important information about illness and when students are permitted to return to school based on Indiana state statue.


Please keep your child home from school if they are displaying symptoms.
