NO SCHOOL Monday, February 15 and Tuesday, February 16.
- Monday is Presidents' Day, a federal holiday. HSE Schools are closed.
- Tuesday is a Flex Day. With no snow days to make up, Tuesday is a day off.
- No virtual, e-learning, or in-person school will occur on Monday and Tuesday.

Attendance and Absence Reporting
- Call 317-915-4270 and leave a message on the Attendance line.
- Email attendance secretary Alison Jones at azjones@hse.k12.in.us and your student's teacher.
- Please call us before we have to call you! We must hear from every student who is absent.
NWEA Testing Window
- The NWEA Winter Testing window continues through Friday, February 26.
- Teachers will communicate exact dates and times for their classes.
- Please be sure your child is well-rested and has a good breakfast.
- Please be sure your child's iPad is fully charged and fully updated every day.
- Our building tech Mr. Bonnett is happy to help with iPads if needed.
Masks on the Bus and in School Every Day
- To get on the bus, every student must have on a mask.
- Bus drivers have a very limited supply of disposable masks to give to students who don't have them.
- Masks are required all day at school as well. Please make sure your student has a mask on every day!
- Students sometimes need extra masks after recess or gym, if they get damp or sweaty. Please pack a few clean masks in your child's backpack.
Elementary School Hours are 9:45AM - 3:15PM
- Car line drop-off begins at 9:40AM and ends at or before 9:55AM.
If there is no adult staff outside, please walk your student to Door 1 to sign them in.
- Car line pick-up begins at 3:15PM.
- Bus Dismissal begins at 3:30PM.

The USDA waiver providing all meals to students for free has been extended through the end of May 2021. All HSE students will receive free meals through the end of the school year; this includes any pre-ordered food packs. Any a la carte options offered at school are not free and would need to be paid for using the student lunch account.
- 100% Virtual: Students who participate in 100% virtual instruction will continue to have the option to pick up 5 day food packs at designated school locations. A link will continue to be sent weekly for parents to pre-order those packs. - K-4 In-Person 4 day Lunch: Students in grades K-4 will have lunch served at school the days they attend in-person, Monday through Thursday. Breakfast will not be served due to the school start time.
- K-4 In-Person 5 day Breakfast/1 day (Friday) Lunch: Meal packs will be available upon request and able to be picked up on Tuesdays at Fall Creek Intermediate. Any family needing a food pack for their student/s will need to contact Lynn Wolfe with Food Services at lwolfe@hse.k12.in.us or 317-594-4100 by Friday at 11am each week.

Game Day returns on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 6:30 pm as we host a fun, interactive virtual trivia competition with five customized rounds for HSE Schools.

Did you miss our open registration period in January? Signups for most spring sports are still available and we encourage you to register now at myathletics.com. Waitlists will form later this month for many leagues and divisions.
Interested in volunteering? We have a community of over 2,000 volunteers made up of neighbors, family, community members and teachers who share their talents with us! Thank you for indicating this on the online registration form or emailing info@myathletics.com. We appreciate your support.

Everyone Plays. Athletic scholarship opportunities are available for families on free or reduced lunch within the district. Families can apply for one per season per child and must apply and be accepted during our open registration period. For spring sports these dates are 1/1 – 1/31.
