Included in these orders and requests will be school wide set of books for all scholars and parents as we get set to launch an AMAZING Literacy initiave-- One School, One Book! Stay tuned for more amazing details as we will be the first BCS school to launch such an aggressive movement on Literacy with a family connection component! #ReadToMe
Notes from Ms. Raeburn (The 10)
#ProjectLevelUP
Have you stopped in our elite schoolhouse lately? Please do and check out the vibe and energy! We are working hard to create a culture and a climate of elitness! I am very excited about our #ProjectLevelUP that we are rolling out to get our scholars excited about GMAS and doing their very best! We have so many fun projects in store for our scholars to get them hyped up, including our Bitmoji project, SchoolBusCar Pool Karoke, and GMAS Celebrations! We have ten more days before we begin testing for our 8th graders and 15 more days until we begin testing for our 6th and 7th graders.
Now is also a great time to make sure your day to day routines are solid. In order to make sure each day is ELITE, scholars should be getting between 9-12 hours of sleep, (Grown Ups need sleep too!) drinking lots of water, and eating balanced meals! If you also could check your home calendars and limit appointments the weeks of GMAS, that would be awesome! We strive for minimal interruptions and high attendance rates!
8th grade will begin testing 4/30
6th and 7th grade will begin testing 5/7
We will have every scholar tested in the morning and we will be able to resume regular classes by noon each day.
