- Calcium - for healthy bones and teeth
- Phosphorous - for energy release
- Vitamins - A, D, B, Riboflavin (for healthy skin)
What is Osteoporosis?
- a condition in which bones become weak and brittle

How can I prevent it?
5 Simple Steps:
- Get recommended amounts of calcium and vitamin D
- Engage in regular weight-bearing exercise
- Avoid smoking and excessive alcohol
- Talk to your doctor about bone health
Healthy Food Choices
- Chocolate milk
- Fruit parfait
- Yogurt
- Smoothie
- Oatmeal
Recipe: Frozen Fruit Smoothie
Ingredients
1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced
2 cups frozen strawberries, raspberries, or cherries
1 cup milk
1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
2 to 3 tablespoons honey or to taste
Directions
Put all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
