McMillen Speech and Debate
The McMillen Speech and Debate team attended the Coppell Classic tournament last weekend, 1/5 and 1/6.
Please, congratulate Vivian Behnke for making it to Finals in Impromptu Speaking. This event requires competitors to give a 4 to 5 minute speech on a topic they choose from an envelope. Immediately after pulling a topic, they have 7 minutes total to prepare and present the speech on the spot!
Other students participating this weekend were, Maddie Dore, Bryan Orange, Prgathi Boddu, and Ethan Litmanen.

Golden Girl Drill Team Tryouts
Plano ISD Toni & Guy Cosmetology Program Partnership
Plano ISD Career & Technical Education is excited to announce a new partnership with TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy to offer a cosmetology program for juniors and seniors. Students selected by lottery will attend the Plano TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy beginning in the fall of their junior year, and successful completion of the program will allow students to take the state cosmetology licensing exam.
Interested current 10th grade students and families are invited to attend an Open House at the TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy to learn more about the program.

The Plano ISD community is invited to Believe in the Dream at the 37th Annual MLK Diversity Celebration honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This annual celebration will showcase student talent and diversity leadership in our schools and community.
