Attendance

YTD Attendance is at 78.2% for the entire REC. Primary and Secondary attendance numbers are as follows:


Primary: 81.5%

Secondary: 72.3%


Remember our goal is 80% attendance for the year. Please send an email to seattle.jk.rec@gmail.com if your child will not be attending REC this week.

PCJ #1 Winners

We are happy to announce that Grade 1 was 1st place winner (100% completion) for PCJ. Congratulations to Grade 1 students, parents and teachers. They will receive ice cream party this week and popcorn party next week.


3 grades tied for 2nd place winner (Grades KG, 2nd & 4th) all at 66.7% completion. They will all receive ice cream party this week. Great Job grades KG, 2nd and 4th.

Parent Seminar on UJP (Understanding Jamati Practices)

Save the date for parent seminar on UJP by Nuri Thobani on Saturday November 5th from 3:30 - 4:30pm.

Positive Youth Development

The Search Institute has identified building blocks of healthy development—known as Developmental Assets—that help young children grow up healthy, caring, and responsible. Each week we will post an asset from the 40 Developmental Assets.

⦿Greet youth enthusiastically and comment on something positive about them

⦿Be patient with the youth, do not show signs of being irritated if they make a mistake

Snack

We will be serving subway sandwiches, chips and fruit this Saturday. We will also be serving extra snack during RCC due to Mushkil Asaan Satada this Saturday.
