Aquin Adesse Ticket Update!

Don't forget about selling Adesse tickets--yes, even into the new year! Adesse winners for the January drawings won't be pulled until the end of January to insure that everyone who buys a ticket has a chance at winning all 365 prizes.

The 3rd Sales Incentive Day for Class and Family Prizes is Friday, January 3rd. Bring any 'sold' Adesse tickets to the office by noon on Friday to be counted toward family and class incentives awarded at the end of the day!

Remind friends and families that they can purchase Adesse tickets online at We just had an alumnus purchase tickets there today after he received a letter in the mail from Christopher, an Aquin 6th grader. Our alumnus wanted to make sure that Christopher knew that it was because of his letter that he went online to get a ticket. Way to go Christopher!

From the Bookkeeping Office . . .

When writing checks to Aquin, please use BLACK or BLUE INK ONLY. We have recently had 2 checks returned to us by our banks that were completed in colors other than blue or black. New banking regulations won't allow colors other than blue or black. And, we're guessing that checks returned in the future may incur service charges to us. Please help us avoid any extra charges by following these recommendations.

Stephenson County Winter Olympics 2014

For the past 5 years, Aquin has 'kicked off' Catholic Schools Week (the last week in January) with the 'Crosstown Classic' on the last Sunday of January. This year we will be taking a break from the 'Crosstown'.

Instead, as the Winter Olympics in Sochi start on February 6th, Aquin will host the Stephenson County Winter Olympics on Sunday, January 26th to kick off Catholic Schools Week. Plans are well underway and lots of exciting info is coming soon.

Whether you will be a participant, a spectator or a volunteer--you will certainly want to attend this great event that will only come around every 4 years--so mark your calendars today!
