An excellent way to present information to students while allowing them to respond through short answer, multiple choice, drawings, and more. Now includes virtual field trips!

Students can create beautiful multimedia timelines that include text, picture, video, and even interactive questions. View the gallery of timelines that can be used to teach with. Students can create their own or build them collaboratively. If you teach more than 100 students, consider that premium account for $49 per year.
Read Write Think Timeline
Less bells and whistles than hstry.co, this tool allows students to create a more basic timline. Files can be saved as PDF documents and emailed to the teacher.
MyHistro
Using myHistro, you can combine maps and timelines seamlessly into one great presentation. Timelines can be created with text, video, pictures, and maps! A great way to tell a story!
Vocabulary Development
Create virtual study sets for each unit or topic. Quizlet supports struggling learners with the option to include images and the option to have text read aloud. Student can interact with the study set in 6 different ways. With the premium version teachers can monitor student practice.
