Great to Be Back!
Thank you to our parent volunteers who have come to help with farm and special projects and lessons. We are hopeful for more opportunities to have parents re-join us on campus. I will keep you posted when we can open the Willy Wonka gates. We miss and need you!
Traffic is busy at drop-off and pick-up as we all enter and leave through the front of the school. I am continuing to work with Friends on the possibility of reopening the back gate on Colorado. There are a few requests we are discussing to ensure safety and a respected partnership. In addition to a crossing guard, we will need two parent volunteers each day to help monitor the Friends parking lot and the back gate for drop-off and pick-up. If you are interested, please email me at dyoshinaga@pausd.org. It doesn't have to be every day. We need you, village!
The picture above is a "Fall Tree Reflections" art piece from Cluster 2. Beautiful! I hope you enjoy spending time with your amazing children this weekend. It feels like popcorn and a movie tonight!

Ohlone Times 11th Edition
5th Grade Music
There was an update to the California Department of Public Health Guidelines on 11/24/21 in regards to band. Students who are using musician's masks and bell covers while playing wind and brass instruments may now be spaced 3ft apart while playing indoors. More information about the update can be found on the CDPH website here.
Health & Safety
We appreciate your open and timely communication about illness and potential Covid exposure. As you know, time is of the essence for notification. Please email ohloneattendance@pausd.org and copy me as soon as possible should your child test positive or be identified as a close contact outside of school. Thank you, again.
