BARBER BULLETIN
Creating Joyful Leaders and Learners: Week of March 12-16
SLO Information
Teachers,
Your final SLO is due on or before March 16th to your SLO chairperson. All data should be included in your document.
Also, just a reminder that all teachers on SLOs do need to complete section #11 where you are asked calculate the percentage of students who met their target growth as well as answer the reflection question.
When you submit your SLO be sure to include a copy of the assessment and a sample of the students’ work.
Once receiving a copy of your final SLO, administration will send out meeting times to you. We are here to help and support you as we wind down so please don’t hesitate to ask questions.
MAP INCENTIVE: Target Growth Goal
Thank you for using this incentive as motivation with your students when they take the MAP assessment. Be sure that each student understands their specific TARGET GROWTH before they take the assessment in both content areas.
Turnaround Student
Please identify one student from your grade level to be considered to represent our school. As in the past, each student recognized will be invited to a Pontiac Turnaround Ceremony. Your grade level can determine the criteria used for the selection process. After you have identified your student, complete the form and email it to K.Barber with at least five varied digital photos of the student by March 23.
The Pontiac Turnaround Student will be selected by a panel based on the submissions from each grade level. This child will be recognized at the district ceremony on Thursday, May 3 at 6:30pm at R2I2.
Thank you for taking the time to recognize a deserving student from your grade level!
