Greenback campaign
When we finish our Greenback campaign, we have always given each grade level an additional $500 to spend on classroom material. Other purchases we made last year included subscriptions to student learning apps (Raz Kids, IXL) and the smaller soccer goals for the outside fields.
We ask that you give what you can, knowing that all the money will stay here to help Glenhope students. We also pledge to not do fundraisers (except for the Sky Ranch trip) if we are able to raise enough during Greenback to meet our needs. Each year for the last 16 years, our generous community has contributed over $10,000 to support our teachers and students.
Morning volunteer opportunity
One of our parents, Kristi Clark-Miller, has proposed an additional drop off for parents to help lessen the wait time for morning traffic. This drop off spot is at the top of Glenhope Circle on the east side of the street. In order to make this drop off work, however, we need volunteers who can sign up to man the drop off spot from 7:15-7:45. You can sign up for one day or repeated days as your schedule permits. Responsibilities will be getting children out of their cars and walking them to the cross walk to cross safely. If you have 30 minutes to help one or many mornings, please follow this link and sign up!
Distinction Designations
We are pleased to share that we earned 5 distinction designations through the state accountability system for 2016-17.
