2020 Global Play Day

Students enjoyed taking time out from learning to engage in unstructured play at various times during the day on February 5th! Play is so very important for the develop of our children. In his TEDx lecture, Peter Gray argues the case that today's kids do not grow up playing and this has negatively impacted them in many ways. As your children engage in play at home, encourage them to put away the electronics (iPad, video games, etc) and pull out the board games, dolls, Legos, blocks, trucks, cars, racetracks, playing cards, empty cardboard boxes, markers, jigsaw puzzles, blankets (for forts), and more!

Parking Lot Safety Reminder

PLEASE use extreme caution when driving in through our parking lot area. I have received many concerns in the past two week regarding speed, cell phone usage and disrespectful behavior among our driver. We have many families who choose to park and walk to the front of the building. Please use extreme caution as you drive through our parking lot!
