Our counselor, Natalie Arbaugh, has been busy working with every Belmont Bulldog since the beginning of the year, at least one hour (sometimes more) each month through classroom guidance counselling! Most 1st-5th grade students were recently introduced to a new district resource; the “Calming Corner” app. Miss Arbaugh taught them that it's a tool they can utilize to help them self-regulate to return to the green zone; where we all learn best. It includes a variety of breathing videos, calming music, puzzles, animals at play, relaxing videos and mindful coloring. We are currently looking for TWO paraprofessionals to join our Connections-C program. This is our center-based program for children with significant needs in the area of communication. Our paras support students throughout the school as student needs dictate. This is an incredible opportunity to make a significant difference on the daily. Our children deserve only the best and that's what we're looking for!
