Race2Read is off to a great start!
Grady students have logged over 130,000 reading minutes since December! As expected, we easily met our initial school goal of 60,127 but the race is still on so students should continue to log their reading. We will have several competitions for homerooms, classrooms, and individual students.
- The homeroom reading competition runs from January 16th-March 20th. Donut parties for the top advisements by grade level will be on March 27th .
- The first Race2Read competition for individual students with the most minutes runs from January 16th-January 31st. The top 20 will receive a free copy of The Hate U Give and a ticket to see author Angie Thomas on February 9th.
- The classroom competitions will run until April 15th. Stay tuned for prize details.
