A Note from Mrs. Palmer
Reminder that there is no school tomorrow or Tuesday. Students will be back in school Wednesday, January 19th to start the second semester.
Dr. Scheikl presented the new Health and Safety Plan that reflects the new Covid- 19 CDC guidelines. It is very important that your child continues to wear their mask while in the school building. Any student that is non-compliant, will need to be picked up from school. The safety of our students is a priority. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to me for clarification or guidance. If I don't have the answer, I will do my best to find an answer for you.
Updated Health and Safety Plan
Thank you for your communication concerning any health issues with your family during this pandemic. Continue to inform the administration and/or the nurse of any Covid exposures, positive tests, or if you or your child are experiencing any covid type symptoms.
If you are planning a vacation during the school year, let the office know by calling the school prior to the vacation. Contacting the teacher is fine, but Admin. needs to know as well.
Our PTO is up and running, but we need YOU. Contact Stephanie Reid (snreid87@gmail.com) or Johanna Klein (jklein@rockingham.k12.va.us) to see how you can get involved.
The Parent/Student Handbook is found at the link below. It contains lots of information. I encourage you to read through it. Call the school before 8:45, if your child will be absent from school. (298-1511)
Call the school by 8:45 AM if your child is feeling ill and will be absent from school. Let us know of any Covid exposures or potential exposures. Safety is a priority at EES.
I wish you well,
Barbara Palmer, Principal
