We’d like your feedback – please take the Family Survey - 2/27-3/24
We have asked YouthTruth – a nonprofit organization that supports hundreds of schools and districts across the country – to conduct an anonymous survey on our behalf for both students and families. For information about this survey, please go here, or speak to a school administrator. We sincerely thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Your response is incredibly valuable to us.
LHS Student Link: Will be provided in the coming weeks to students.
LHS Family Survey: Link complete by 3/24/23
Family Survey - Complete by 3/24
Please take the survey before it closes at midnight on March 24th by clicking this link.
Please note:
The survey needs to be completed in one sitting.
We ask that one member of each household fill out the survey.
If you have more than one child who attends the same school, you may respond to the survey multiple times - one time per child.
If you write any comments, please do not include your name or anything else that might identify you. Your responses are anonymous, and they will be combined with the responses of other parents and guardians before being shared back with school and district leadership.
Student Survey
We are asking your child to participate in the YouthTruth Student Survey in the coming weeks. The survey asks students about their experiences in the school and with their teachers, including how engaged they are at school, the rigor of their coursework, and their preparedness for the future. Our school, other schools, and researchers may use such information for developing plans to help schools and teachers improve.
Although we want to hear from all students, participation in this survey is voluntary.
Your child’s ratings will not be identified in any reports because results are shared at the group level. Personally identifiable information will not be released to any third party.
Please be aware that under federal law, you have the right to review a copy of the questions asked of your child. If you would like to do so, you can view a copy of the survey at school.
Please use this form to opt-out (complete only if opting-out).
If you have any questions about the survey, or our plans for how we will use your feedback, please contact Teresa Sanchez, sanchezt@loswego.k12.or.us.
LOSD Advisory Committee Applications Due - 4/7/23
We need you! Please consider applying for our school or district advisory committee for terms starting next school year. There is one application for all committees; in the form mark the committee that is of interest to you. See the charters posted on the School Board Advisory Committees web page for more information about each committee.
Applications are due Friday, April 7 at 5 p.m. Recommendations and selections will be made in April. All applicants will be notified by May 1.
