We're OPEN!

NJUHSD is back in the "hybrid" learning model - CAMPUS IS OPEN!

Words can't quite express how excited we are to write... we're ready for students to return to campus!


We ask that all students complete the Covid health screener questions at home prior to coming to campus. All Covid 19 Protocols can be located on our website.


Our student center is open for students again as well. Students may still join virtually if that is better for your family. We're also ready for students to return to the computer lab with Kelly. If you have any questions about that please email Kelly or talk to your student's teacher.


We're looking forward to having our students back!

We have 18 days of ADA in this new assignment sheet.

Please make note of the Presidents' Day campus closures.

Bridge to High School - 8th to 9th

Do you know a family with an 8th grader that would be a good fit for NPA? Information is now available for those who are investigating the right high school placement on our NPA website - school counselor corner.

9th 10th and 11th grade ESSENTIALS

All full-time NPA students were sent a video from NPA school counselor Karla Aaron last week. An updated transcript evaluation document was shared the following day directly to each student. We know many of our students may not share such details with their families! For this reason, here are the videos for your viewing pleasure.

National School Counseling Week

The week of February 1 is National School Counseling Week. The aim of the week is to bring awareness to the role of the School Counselor in education today.


As the NPA school counselor...


I am all in because each student deserves to have a champion in their corner. A person who is rooting for them, believes in them, and celebrates their every success.


I'm all in because all students deserve a safe learning environment where they can learn, grow, struggle, challenge themselves, take risks, and be assured to have a safe place to land.


I'm all in for my professional development because I am committed to constantly gaining skills and tools to equip me to better serve my students, their families, and my colleagues.
