Continuing to Support Families and Students

by Bradley Torti, Principal

Sinaloa has free agenda books available to families who want them. We feel strongly these are useful tools to keep students organized during these strange and sometimes unpredictable times. If you are interested in an agenda book, please stop by campus this week any time from 8am to 3pm. Campus supervisors will be handing them out at the front of the school.

Next, our library is OPEN to students! Students can visit our website, sinaloa.simivalleyusd.org, and browse the catalog of Sinaloa's books by visiting the School Library link under the Resources tab. A detailed guide on how to select books, place a hold on books, and the pick up and return process is available on our "Resources for Families" page and as an attachment in your email.

Each week, we will be producing announcements by Wednesday. These video announcements will be placed in teachers' Google Classrooms for students to view. The announcements also include the Pledge of Allegiance. Please encourage your students to check out the announcements each week to stay on top of what's going on at Sinaloa!

We want to stress that if your student is having any tech trouble at home, please contact the school right away. We are available by phone at (805)520-6830 from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Our district office also has resources available online at simivalleyusd.org.

Please remember to call in if your student is not going to be able to attend Zoom lessons in the same way you would call in for other attendance issues. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the attendance office.

And as always, please reach out with any questions or concerns you may have. We are proud to have you in the Saber family, and look forward to continuing to work with you!

Protecting Students from Online Disruptions - Extra Steps

In order to ensure that students and teachers can focus on learning during Zoom instruction, teachers will be enabling certain security features that may require additional steps for students. Please familiarize yourselves with these steps in case you have difficulty accessing Zoom sessions at Sinaloa.

The Sinaloa Library is (Virtually) Open!

Mrs. Lacrosse has been hard at work getting our library ready for distance learning. We are now ready to start loaning books out to students who are interested! Students can browse our catalog online and may check out 6 books at a time. See the attachment below for details!
